Today I am in North Carolina and visited a very nice quilt shop where I bought a stack of fat quarters. Some for my planned black and white quilt. Some because I just really liked the fabric.

I am not always certain what I will do with fat quarters or how I will use them but I certainly like them. They are almost like buying a paint sample from Home Depot except instead of a splotch on the wall I get a sweet final product.

This is a beautiful part of the country and I certainly hoped to return. With my guy. Can't wait to share it with him!
